Today we’re gonna talk about why should you invest in Global City.

Welcome back. Today we’d like to talk to you about why Global City is worth investing. There’s so many nice cities in the Philippines. And I’d like to take you to each one of them. The thing is, there are just so many things we have to cover in each of these cities. For today, we’d like to talk to you about Bonifacio Global City.

Bonifacio Global City is a financial and lifestyle district within Metro Manila. It is located 11 kilometers southeast from the center of Manila. It is under the administration of the city government of Taguig.

In February 7, 1995, Bonifacio Land Development Corporation or BLDC started planning a major urban development to be called Bonifacio Global City. BLDC made a successful bid to become BCDA’s partner in the development of the district.

The City of Taguig or Bonifacio Global City as what it has been fondly called in the last few years is now a major thriving financial business district. And there are just so many things to enjoy over within this business district.

There are also several reasons why it has become one of the major investment destinations in the Philippines. Today we’d like to give you some of those reasons.

The first reason is it offers world class facilities.

This is particularly true when you’re talking about commercial, residential and educational developments. Inside Global City you will find Bonifacio High Street which is practically approximately one-kilometer stretch of open space with retail area. You can actually shop while enjoying the greens.

You will also find within Global City Burgos Circle which also features a lot of retail and dining options. You also have Uptown Mall and SM Aura. SM Aura even has a sky garden where you can enjoy the views and you can also experience and enjoy greens within the city.

There are also a lot of religious institutions within Bonifacio Global City such as the St. Michael the Archangel Church and the Aura chapel. You’ll also find that there are a lot of open spaces in between the major roads of the Bonifacio Global City.

In fact, there are even high-end developments that feature open spaces within its developments such as in Serendra. You can find four hectares of open space garden within this condominium complex. Where can you find that? You don’t usually find that. That’s what sets Bonifacio Global City apart from other cities.

Security in Bonifacio Global City is also world-class. It features 24/7 security, a five-minute response time for BGC emergency services team, well-maintained landscape and common areas and BGC also has its private truck and ambulance. As far as hospitals is concerned, one of the country’s leading hospitals, St. Luke’s is also in Global City.

With regards to health and fitness, you also have Kerry Sports which features world-class gym facilities and Anytime Fitness is also there so you can exercise anytime of the day. There are also a lot of cross fit gyms available across Global City. As far dining is concerned, you’ll find that just in Serendra you actually have a lot of choices. And when we’re talking about Bonifacio Global City as a whole, as far as dining is concerned, you’ll find local and international cuisines that is just present in the area. So, you can simply walk and have a taste of the world.

As far as cinemas are concerned, you have cinemas available in the Central Square, in SM Aura, in Uptown Mall and in Market Market. You even have a 4DX cinema located in Global City. It is something to quite enjoy. As far as groceries is concerned, for your basic needs, it also caters to a wide variety from the basic needs to the important goods and luxuries that you like. You’ll find amazing groceries such as in SM Aura. You also have Rustan’s supermarket in Uptown Mall.

You also have a really good grocery at the Central Square. As far as offices are concerned, you have a lot of grade-A buildings that you will find inside Bonifacio Global City such as the Finance Tower, Alveo Park Triangle, Park Triangle Corporate Plaza, One World Place and so much more.

You’ll also find that a lot of these amazing hotels are also within Global City such as the Shangri-la Hotel Court, Ascott Hotel BGC, F1 Hotel and Seda Hotel which features a bar in its roof deck overlooking the city.

The second reason why Bonifacio Global city is such a good city to invest in is that it has a modern look comparable to world-class cities.

Inside Global City, you’ll find world-class structures. When was the last time that you found a grade-A building in the Philippines? There are some that can be found in Makati but when you’re inside Bonifacio Global City, almost every building in the skyline is mostly grade-A, a double grade-A or a premium grade building. Inside Global City you’ll find a lot of grade-A and premium grade building such as those that we just mentioned to you. On top of that, what I like about Global City is that they feature underground utilities. The telephone, electricity, and cable are all underground so you don’t have any eye sore as far as electrical posts are concerned. There are no overhanging wires obstructing the view.

Therefore, what you see in their perspective, the artist’s perspective during the pre-selling time, is what you’ll see in the actual. And it also contributes to a feeling of openness and there’s so much more open space in the area.

This, coupled with the wide sidewalks, the greens and the beautiful buildings all contribute to a feeling of a world-class city. BGC also supports fiber technology so as far as faster data processing is concerned, this is a real city that’s set for the future.

Reason number 3: Most multi-national companies and international big brands are already in Global City.

Major brands, even luxury companies have already relocated their office and their showrooms within Global City.

Inside Global City you will find luxury brands such as Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Jaguar showroom, Maserati showroom, Audi, Lamborghini Manila, Volkswagen BGC, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Mini Cooper and many more. Some of the multi-national companies that have chosen to be relocated in Global City include Astra Zeneca, Del Monte Philippines, Ericsson Philippines, HSBC, Oracle, Samsung, Yahoo Philippines and so much more.

So, as you can see, there are a lot of multi-national companies, international brands and even some of the initial brand offerings that are coming to the Philippines for the first time can already be found in the Philippines particularly in Bonifacio Global City.

You will find brands suchs as Uniqlo, Forever 21, Mango, Cotton On. All of these things that you used to only find abroad, you can also find in Bonifacio Global City already. So, in Bonifacio Global City, you’ll find a lot of these multi-national companies and major brands already here. These are like writings on the wall as to where the direction of the city is headed.

Fourth is it’s such a walkable city.

Surrounded by lush greenery, themed parks, lush pocket gardens, it is an amazing walking experience together with the wide walk path, provides a very, very nice experience when you are walking on the streets of Bonifacio Global City, whether it’s day time or night time.

You can practically get to anywhere because the design of Global City is that it is such a walkable city, that it provides huge walk paths on the side of the road. Other cities don’t even have this design properly. But in Bonifacio Global City, it is a basic.

So, when you find yourself wanting to walk around, shop a little bit, and go to work, you know, maybe watch a movie, have a good dining experience, Bonifacio Global City is one of those cities that will really work for you.

The fifth and final point why Global City is such a good city to invest in is the story is not yet over.

Global City is highly progressive, developing business district. You see that all of these lots have already been bought by private developers and it is not yet fully developed. So, this means that there is a lot of room for development even more into the future. All property types which have been located here are thriving.

Most of the international schools can already be found in Global City such as International School Manila, British School Manila, Manila Japanese School, Everest Academy and others. All of these factors contribute to such a unique living experience which is what they call the Bonifacio Global City. It operates on a world-class level which if course the Filipino people deserve. And it’s amazing to have this kind of setup here in the Philippines. And it’s not yet at its full stage. If you go to the north side of Global City, you’ll find that there are still lots of available that are being developed, and these developers are moving very aggressively. If you go to the west side where you have most of the restaurant, you’ll see that there are also a lot of improvements happening in that side.

There are also a lot of office spaces being built. There are also a lot of residential offerings that you can take advantage of. So, this is very comparable when you’re seeing Makati in the 80’s when it was just being built or this is a unique opportunity for you when you’re seeing a business district geared for development for the next 10, 20, 30 years and it’s still not yet done. What comes to your mind? It’s very simple. You have a good opportunity. It’s an opportunity to invest in highly developing business district.

Most of these high-end developers have already invested in the area and are continuing to pour more developments so that it’s gonna go up in value. Most especially with the recent moving of the Philippine Stock Exchange in Bonifacio Global City, residential, commercial and institutional developments are in the area and most of the major brands have already moved to Global City.
