What Makes Living in a House Nice?

Good Day. Today we’re going to talk about what makes living in a house attractive for buyers.

Today we’re going to talk about why a house is sometimes more attractive than buying any other type of property.

First reason is front appeal.

Normally in a condo you wouldn’t have any choice but to like or not like the overall look of the building. But with a house you have the opportunity to actually design it the way you’ve always dreamed of how it should look like.

There are also other villages that feature underground utilities so that when you design your home, whatever is in the architectural perspective is the one that you’re going to see in actuality, and you don’t have all these ugly wires that blocks your nice view.

Having a font facade can actually be one of the reasons why you would want to choose a house over any other type of property.

The second reason why a house is an interesting choice for some buyers is the fact that you can actually build a garden.

It provides several functions both for design purposes and also for social purposes because if you have a garden and patio facing a nice garden, and it’s well kept and it looks good, you could actually host some parties or if not that, you can entertain some guests or relatives that come and visit you, you can actually set up nice cocktail tables and really throw a nice party right at the very comfort of your own home.

And all of this happens within the privacy and security of your own home. That could be a nice living experience.

Third are pools.

While not all houses have pools, but those that do also serve three functions.

Number one, it looks pretty nice. When you look at the house it really accentuates the home very well.

Number two, it provides an avenue where you can have social interactions with the kids or probably the family.

Third, it also provides a nice area where you could actually have some good exercise without really hitting your knees hard like if you were doing some other forms of exercise.

It’s just a good, low-impact sport, and it gives you the opportunity to do it at your own pace.

The fourth reason why most people prefer a house over a condo or any other type of property is space.

Space is just such a good portion of the house. With a house you can actually have double ceiling height living areas, huge formal dining rooms, you can have a garden, you can have a pool, you can have a front lawn. There’s just so much space you can play around with. Now the space comes at several different areas that you might actually find attractive.

Number one are the living areas. So this covers the living room, the dining area, the patio, you know most of these things that you could custom make for your home.

Number two are the closets. The really important function of your home is storing your stuff in a secure place. So having a lot of closet space for your clothes, for your bags, for your shoes, all of these things are quite important and these are actually one of the few things that your buyers look for.

Number three are the rooms. Versus a condo, as you know, most homes offer larger rooms. Normally because condos are placed in the city, and so they have limited space. When you have a home, you can actually make a bigger room for the kids or for yourself, which you normally don’t enjoy in a condominium. You can also make the ceiling height much higher for your rooms or for the living areas so that you can have this feeling of openness and then there’s just a warm, welcoming space to house you.

Next is parking.

Parking slots in a condominium could be limited. Normally you’re only provided 1, 2, or 3, sometimes 4 maximum depending on the condominium or if you live in a penthouse you probably would be given a maximum of 3,4, or even 6 slots, that’s about it.

In a house, you can actually have more. You can actually have 10, 8 or probably 15, depending on how much you need. At the minimum you can have a 2 or 4 car garage for your property so having this amount of garage space without having the need to spend for extra parking slots actually gives you the advantage of just getting the car and not buying an additional parking slot.

If it were a condo, you’d probably have to buy for another 6 figure or 7 figure price tag. With a house you don’t have to do that. All you have to do is to buy a car and just put it there, and that’s it.

Another advantage are finishes.

You can choose the finishes that you like, versus a condominium wherein they usually provide the finishes for you and then that’s it, and then if you don’t like it you have to buy it and then take them out. If it were a house you can choose the finishes right from the get go.

So if you don’t like the renditions or the choices upon meeting with your contractor or the architect or the interior designer of your home you can just simply tell them then you can choose them from the start. So you save on the cost instead of it being there then taking them out then buying new ones. You actually have the advantage of choosing them before it’s actually placed there in the house.

And as a bonus, if your property is actually located in one of the nicer locations.

Say for example it’s at the center of the business district or say for example it’s in a suburb that’s really nice, it’s highly elevated and you have the view, location can be one of the key things that will accentuate the home.

Living in a nice place, you have the front appeal, you have the space needs, you have all of these greens that can function social for your home and you also have the swimming pool and you have all of these storage spaces, cabinets, it could really work well. And if you also have the finishes, it could really actually blend well for your home.

So what did we learn today? We learned today that there are some advantages that a house can offer that any other property type can’t get. And we do hope this topic was able to give you more value as far as choosing the best property for you is concerned.
